Guy Ritchie is set to release his latest film, The Covenant. This film starring Jake Gyllenhaal is set to be released in late April. Since we are only a couple of months away, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) has released a new trailer, poster, and a few images to get us excited about the film.
Below you can watch the trailer for MGM’s The Covenant and check out the poster and a few images provided by the studio.
The Covenant looks like a very interesting film. We’ll be following Gyllenhaal’s character, US Army Sergeant John Kinley. He goes on a mission to save an interpreter who risked his life to save him after they were attacked.
Besides the action sequences, what will make or break this film will be the pacing. It seems like we are going to be going back and forth in remembering the events of when Kinley was saved. As well as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan kind of moments as the US Army Sergeant goes off on his own to try and repay the favor.
