A mix of Barside Buzz and actual news today as The Defenders reunite, finally in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, plus more besides. Let’s start with the headline which, whilst not official, is also not a rumor. Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 filming us currently underway and some familiar faces have been seen.
Many fans and industry insiders have been sharing images in and around filming on Season 3. Both Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) have been spotted in between shots alongside Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), who of course makes her return in Season 2.
EW covered this revelation, though, they’re just one of several sources for this information on the web. It’s not a rumor folks, The Defenders will reunite in Born Again Season 3. As to why? Well insider MTTSH claims the trio unite to take the place of Matt Murdock in his ‘absence’.
Now, I hear why Matt is absent from the start of Season 3 is a spoiler for Season 2. Which means, I do not want to know any more. However, given we know the Mayor Fisk storyline concludes in Season 2, I think this makes a loot of sense.

Meanwhile, some official news came this week about two world premieres for Avengers: Doomsday. The UK premiere will be on December 7th, and the US premiere will take place in LA on December 14th. This could put paid to the rumor that Doomsday could be moved up by a week to a December 11th global release. Though, it is possible for a US premiere to take place after general release, however, it seems unlikely. (See related link above for details on rumor.)
Finally, some Barside Buzz now around the film. Leaker Daniel RPK claims that Reed Richards and Doom will build a set of special cannons on every Earth. Seemingly in an attempt to try and stop incursions from happening.
