The Estate Trailer | The Troubles With Hiring a Hitman

Some people work really hard for their money. Others find devious ways to weasel their way into it. While others are “lucky” enough to just be born into it. With that said there are those who will do whatever it takes not to work hard or even work at all. Even if that means hiring a hitman to kill someone to secure their inheritance. Why so specific? Vertical Entertainment is releasing a new thriller/comedy titled, The Estate.

The Estate

In this comedy/thriller we find a self-centered son and a gold-digging wife that is looking to speed up the death of their dad/husband in order to take his money. But of course, they don’t want to get their hands dirty. This leads them to hire a hitman to do the job for them. What follows is pure madness. You can check out the trailer below!

Here is the synopsis for The Estate

When a narcissistic son (Chris Baker), yearning for a life of luxury, and his father’s erratic gold-digging wife (Eliza Coupe) decide to kill their way into their inheritance, they employ the help of an absurdly handsome, mysterious hitman (Greg Finley), initiating a psychosexual love triangle that spirals into more than anyone bargained for. Deftly balancing sharp humor and horror, THE ESTATE delivers a perfectly campy, wildly enjoyable thrill ride that packs a deadly punch.

The Estate looks like it could be a lot of fun. As they think they are taking a step closer to riches, it looks like fate pushes them right back. What do you think of our first look at this film? Let us know in the comment section below!

The Estate from Vertical Entertainment will be available in theaters and VOD on October 22nd, 2021.
