Next year begins a new chapter in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sure, you’ve had some of those TV shows that alluded to events in the films, but you never really got the sense that they existed in the same universe. Not really, at least. But that all changes next year with the first Disney+ series The Falcon and Winter Soldier.
For the first time, we’ll see a story play out over the course of several hours, and the format will give the MCU breathing room to actually flesh out some of the secondary characters that have long since been pushed to the side in favor of the leads.

Now, thanks to Sebastian Stan, we also know that filming has officially begun for the Disney+ series.

So far, we know that Stan and Anthony Mackie will be reprising their roles as Bucky and Sam, respectively, and that Daniel Bruhl will also be coming back in the role of Zemo, who divided the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War.
I’m sure in the weeks to come we’ll be seeing much more in terms of set photos and videos, but with the show already less than a year away, we won’t have long to wait until it’s finally in our laps.
