Earlier this month, Arrowverse viewers were given a nice little surprise when Ezra Miller unexpectedly popped up and had a confusing one-on-one talk with The Flash TV series’ Grant Gustin. Given how separated the movies were originally from everything else, it didn’t seem like this would ever be possible. Sure, Miller himself teased such a crossover, but it seemed to be little more than musings of an actor who doubled as a fanboy himself.
And yet, it happened, seemingly locking the DCEU into the multiverse, and as far as we can tell, the Arrowverse implied that every single iteration of every single franchise is a part of the multiverse. But, as we know, The Flash is also coming to the big screen…hopefully eventually. Did the filmmakers even know about this?

“Of course,” The Flash screenwriter Christina Hodson told Comicbook.com. “‘Cause that would be too much of a surprise if I suddenly saw that on TV.”
As of this writing, we don’t know of Hodson, director Andy Muschietti, and co. have any plans to incorporate that meeting into the plot of the movie in some way, but I do like that they were informed about the whole thing.
What do you think about this? Do you think they should somehow connect the upcoming film with the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover? Let us know your thoughts down below!
