In The Purge franchise, the film concept is people let loose their anger, frustration and murderous rage for one day of the year legally. Now, the concept turned upside down in The Forever Purge with the one nightmarish day extended into forever.
The next installment of the annual Purge didn’t stop at daybreak in The Forever Purge as a sect of lawless marauders decided to ignore the rules and laws. Anarchy and massacre ensues for any remaining survivors and law-abiding citizens.
The cast includes Ana de la Reguera (Cowboys & Aliens), Tenoch Huerta (Days of Grace), Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari), Cassidy Freeman (HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones), Leven Rambin (The Hunger Games), Alejandro Edda, and Will Patton (Halloween). Everardo Gout directed the movie from the script written by James DeMonaco.
Here’s the full synopsis:
Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and her husband Juan (Tenoch Huerta) live in Texas, where Juan is working as a ranch hand for the wealthy Tucker family. Juan impresses the Tucker patriarch, Caleb (Will Patton), but that fuels the jealous anger of Caleb’s son, Dylan (Josh Lucas).
On the morning after The Purge, a masked gang of killers attacks the Tucker family—including Dylan’s wife (Cassidy Freeman), and his sister (Leven Rambin), forcing both families to band together and fight back as the country spirals into chaos and the United States begins to disintegrate around them.
