The Halloween Kills Trailer Leaves Us Desperate For 2020 To End

Halloween Kills Trailer

2018’s Halloween pissed me off. First, it erased all of the franchises’ sequels (not really all that bad, but some were good flicks), and secondly, it is the third film called Halloween. WHY? Additionally, I was not super impressed with the new sequel, but I did see the potential for a new trilogy once it was revealed that was the plan. That plan continues with Halloween Kills.

Our first look at Halloween Kills doesn’t offer too much, but we do hear Jamie Lee Curtis scream Michael’s name which is kind of depressing. I thought the idea of someone new taking up the mantle would be cool, and that is still a possibility, but I don’t think Universal has the guts to be so bold. Maybe for Halloween Ends.

What really sucks is that this film was supposed to come out this year, like many others, but in order to stick with the Halloween theme, it was delayed until next October. I get it, the film has the holiday’s name in its title, but do we really need to wait a whole year? Does that mean we’ll only have to wait one year for Halloween Ends? Nobody knows what the future holds and the goalposts keep moving. Maybe we’ll see a day where all movies are Hybrid PVOD/Theater releases. However, that will mean the end of the $200 million blockbuster.
