While most things Pixar related are currently focused on Coco, and rightly so, some news on The Incredibles 2 trailer performance comes to us via Entertainment Weekly. There is only one word to describe the popularity of The Incredibles 2 trailer, and that word is, spectacular. The trailer for the long awaited sequel to 2004’s The Incredibles has been viewed over 113 million times, making it the most viewed trailer of an animated feature ever.

As many of you already know, Incredibles 2 will begin shortly after the first film, and have Elastigirl/Helen Parr, saving the world while Mr. Incredible/Bob Parr stays home and takes care of Jack-Jack.
I love The Incredibles, and while apprehensive, I am excited for what Incredibles 2 could bring. I just hope the sequel goes more the way of Toy Story 2 than say, Cars 2. Both Monsters University and Finding Dory were good films, but I don’t think they better or even equal to the originals. However, with Brad Bird returning to write and direct The Incredibles 2, along with Craig T. Nelson and Helen Hunt reprising their roles as ultimate power couple, Bob and Helen Parr, it is likely the sequel will be another fine entry into the Pixar portfolio.
The Incredibles 2 hits theaters June 15, 2018.
