The Mandalorian: A MNF Special Look

Tomorrow is a huge day for Disney+ as they are finally going to launch their streaming service. Of course we are looking forward to all our classic favorites that will be available as well as some original series and films. One of those highly anticipated series comes from a galaxy far far away, titled The Mandalorian. Tonight during the highly contested Monday Night Football game on ESPN, Disney released a special look at the series with a clip, you can check it out above!

As you can see the clip features the main character of The Mandalorian walking into a bar filled with a variety of creatures not very happy about his arrival. One guy in particular, blames him for spilling his drink. The bartender knowing that the tension could lead into a lot of money in damage, attempts to break it up by offering him a free beer. But before he can send over the drink a brawl breaks out. One of the aliens attempts to escape only to have the Mandalorean slowly drag him back in after firing cables at him. The alien tries to fire at him with a pair of blasters, resulting in door closing on his midsection. The next scene shows that same upper half of the alien now encased in carbonite, in the same way that we saw Han Solo in the classic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

The Mandalorian was created by Jon Favreau and it stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts at the same time as the Disney+ streaming service. Are you excited for The Mandalorean? Let us know in the comments section below!
