The Mandalorian is closing in on its last couple of episodes. Tomorrow will see its seventh episode hit, and next week the final chapter of the saga that seems to have united fans in at least one respect: Baby Yoda’s adorableness. Here at LRM Online, we’re not all as smitten as the majority of fans — though there are some of us who are. All the same, there’s still a lot to look forward to here.

One character we are excited to see for the first time is that of Giancarlo Esposito’s. As an actor who’s played perhaps the greatest TV villain of all-time, we’re all wondering whether or not the same will be said of Moff Gideon.

“This guy is a fierce guy. You have a great amount of expectations surrounding his appearance because we don’t know whether he’s good or bad,” Esposito told TheWrap. “The universe has fallen. Someone is trying to put it back together. Is it an organization? Is it a government? What is it? Is it a militia? Who is this person, who seems to know everything about everyone? We have a bit of a mysterious character, but once you see him and you get to know him, you’ll be intrigued by how he wields his power.”

I’m honestly intrigued right now. We only need to look at his stoic demeanor to be intrigued. Regardless, we don’t have long to wait. Tomorrow is when his episode will hit, and I’m eager to see what he brings to the narrative. One can hope it kickstarts a subplot that helps this first season of The Mandalorian go out with a bang.
