This past Tuesday, audiences finally got a taste of what to expect from the new Star Wars series The Mandalorian. While I’d expected it to be inspired by Spaghetti Westerns, I didn’t realize how much they’d put an emphasis on that over the actual Star Wars branding — which I think was ultimately a good move. But it’s only the beginning of the beginning, and while we have the rest of the season ahead of us, there’s still more to come.
It’s already long since been confirmed that we’ll be getting a second season of El Mando’s adventures, and that creator Jon Favreau would be more directly involved. Now, we have our first image from the set of the second season that proves just that, courtesy of Favreau himself. Check it out below:

Admittedly, there isn’t a lot to go off of here. It’s just another shot of the iconic Mandalorian helmet with Favreau’s reflection in the visor. The background continues to be Western in nature, so if you wondered whether or not they’d stick to that aesthetic during the season, there’s your answer.
