Get ready to pour one out for everyone’s favorite Dornishman, Pedro Pascal. Well, maybe pour one out. It’s all rumors at this point, so who knows what’ll ultimately happen, right?

Anyways, as you may have heard several days ago, Pascal was being thrown around as the potential lead for the new Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian from Jon Favreau. The report came from Making Star Wars, a site well known for its many rumors and set photos from a galaxy far, far away.

Sadly, buried in a new report which boasts tons of set photos and a casting rumor, the author revealed that he’d heard his Pascal rumor was denied by the actor’s representation. So what does this mean for us? Well…kinda nothing. This was nothing but a rumor to begin with, so if you’d gotten your hopes up for something like this…sorry.

That being said, it can’t be ignored that reps lie all the time. Whenever there are leaks like this, it tends to mess with the negotiating tactics of whoever’s involved, and when it comes to film, pretty much everything can fall through at a moment’s notice. Better to deny now and avoid looking like an idiot of the deal falls through, right?

But yeah, this is sadly a denial of a rumor, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up happening anyway, mostly because a lot of these rumors tend to have at least kernels of truth to them.
