The Mandalorian S3 - First BTS Shot - But It 's Not Exciting

The Mandalorian S3 is currently filming, and one outlet has acquired the first BTS shot from Season 3. I have to say though, it’s not a particularly clear or exciting image. So far there is for example no sign of any recognizable characters. Instead there’s just a structure of some kind, that whilst fairly non-descript, kinda looks Star Warsy. Some fans who have seen the image think it looks like an escape pod, or even a porta-potty of some kind. Neither are particularly likely. In fact it looks more like a doorway for an actor to enter and exit whilst the blue screen fill fill in for where they are supposed to be.

Sadly I cannot share the image itself, however you are feel to take a look from the source, Italian site StarWarsaddicted.it. The image was clearly taken from quite a distance away and such it is very blurry. Hey, I did tell you in the title it was not exciting didn’t I? However it is the first image anyone has seen of anything Mandalorian Season 3 related so far and as such, I know many fans will want to take a look.

EDIT: This was actually first covered by MSW on a video you can see below. Apologies for not spotting this in the translation earlier.

We also know that October 13th was the day Carl Weathers was beginning filming on The Mandalorian Season 3. I guess we will see how long Weathers is around the shoot for and take a guess at how big Greef Karga’s role will be in S3. We also know Weathers will be once again directed an episode of Mando S3 as he did in S2.

What do you think of that first BTS shot from The Mandalorian S3? As always, give your thoughts below in the usual place. Chances are we may start to get a few more Mando S3 details now filming is ramping up.
