The Marvels Reportedly Has A Very Short Runtime | Barside Buzz

According to the latest Barside Buzz, The Marvels has a very short runtime when compared to almost any MCU movie. The information here comes initially from Cryptic HD QUALITY, whom I’ve never known to get a runtime claim wrong yet. That being said, normally it’s streaming shows, and they say this is not yet locked for the upcoming movie. Check it out.

Bear in mind that a movie can change right up until release and The Marvels isn’t out till November. It’s true that most movies will start out with a longer cut and then be trimmed down. However, that I guess is up to the director and the editors working with them and how they go through their process. This probably indicates that The Marvels is going to have a much shorter runtime than the majority of MCU movies though. Unless there is 30 minutes of unused footage that goes back in, I would expect this to at least be under 2 hours at final cut.

Not that the source really needs any back up, they got some anyway.

Perhaps to alleviate any major fears, it’s worth noting that the insider buzz around The Marvels has been strong so far. Those who claim to be in the know all seem very positive about what they’ve heard or seen.

As always, I’ll make no judgments until I see the movie myself. What works well in isolation does not always make a great whole. Test screenings have taken place, but at this point it would still e in an unfinished state. I guess the question is to you readers, is this a bad thing or not. Would you be disappointed to have an MCU movie come in just over 1.5 hours?

Let us know what you think about the latest Barside Buzz that The Marvels has a very short runtime? Thoughts below as always.
