According to the Barside Buzz, The Marvels rumored to feature musical elements. Over the past few days some claims have come out regarding the plot of the upcoming Marvel movie. I won’t get into the meat of those rumors here. However there is one element which is important potentially for this story. Those leaks claimed that around 1/3rd of The Marvels would take place on a planet where the citizens sing instead of talk.
At this point I would just assume nothing and move on. However a recent social media post from MTTSH makes the claim that parts of The Marvels will be musical. I assume, perhaps wrongly that these two leaks are linked in some way? Check it out.

I am not against the idea in any way on principal. In fact a planet where the aliens sing instead of speak sounds a novel way to bring in some musical elements, if that leak is legit. We’ve seen musicals show up on shows that one would not normally expect to be musical. If I remember correctly, the Buffy musical episode was caused by some demon using magic to turn the place into a musical. However, I’ll also admit it was not my favorite Buffy episode.

I could see how a third of The Marvels being musical could just be far too much. However I’m not convinced that will actually be the case. I guess we will have to wait for July 28th next year to find out?
