Jace is joined by artist Evan Cagle to chat about New Gods #3. The story is really gaining momentum with flashbacks into the distant past, adding context to current events as we see the alien Nyctari attack Apokolops, New Genesis and perhaps earth is next. Evan talks about the freedom in the character design of the aliens he designed and the legacy feel of working on Jack Kirby creations. He also mentions that when series writer Ram V first told him about the project, he wasn’t sure he was right for it. If anyone has seen the first two issues, I think you will agree that it is great that Evan came around to finding his way on the project.
