Director Wes Anderson is back with another eccentric, humorous film with The Phoenician Scheme.
It stars Benicio Del Toro (Sicario, The Usual Suspects), Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Juno), and up-and-coming Mia Threapleton (A Little Chaos, Shadows).
Wes Anderson directed the film, in which he wrote the screenplay based on a story by Anderson and Roman Coppola.
The official synopsis states it’s “The story of a family and a family business,” without giving too much away.
Other cast members include Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amlaric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis.
