The Predator Gets A Bloody Holiday Special Teaser

It’s the holiday season. That means snow, sweets, and gifts galore. It also means that we’ll be getting tons of films and TV shows looking to capitalize on the holiday spirit. Earlier this month, we saw some pretty predictable fare with Warner Bros. releasing a LEGO Movie holiday short, but less predictably came the Once Upon a Deadpool feature, which brings the family together in an interesting way.

But The Predator isn’t about to let Deadpool have all the edgy fun. They have now released a new little trailer done in the vein of all our favorite stop-motion animated classics. Except, as expected, this doesn’t end with Rudolph guiding Santa’s sleigh. Instead, it ends with the reindeer pulling out a minigun before getting shot to a bloody mess.

This is all advertising a very special holiday short where a Predator will tangle with the most dangerous game: Santa Claus and his reindeer. The special will air on December 19 on Comedy Central during Bojack Horseman at 10:30 pm. It’s definitely an unexpected move, but given that the film will be hitting Blu-ray the day before, I guess it works as a piece of advertisement.
