Have you ever wondered what kind of cloth Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs is cut from in the Fast and Furious franchise? Yeah, we’ve all wondered that at some point. This was a dude who literally broke through his own cast in Furious 7 once he saw the Fast and Furious gang needed his help. It was inevitable we’d get a bit more of his backstory in the Hobbs and Shaw spin-off.

Johnson took to Twitter to share that Luke is one of a whole posse of Hobbs bros and that they (quite fittingly) own a customs shop where they build and deliver vintage vehicles all over the world. Plus, each one of them is as big as the Rock himself, which I’m sure what a requirement of the name. Here’s what Johnson had to say about them in a post:

“A lil’ HOBBS & SHAW exclusive.
THE HOBBS BROTHERS. In Samoa 🇼🇸 we have a word that means everything to us – AIGA – which means FAMILY. My name is Luke Hobbs and these are my four brothers. My family. My aiga. They all live in Western Samoa where they own and operate “Hobbs Customs” – a former illegal chop shop, now a legit business where they build and deliver vintage custom cars all over the world. In Samoa we have another saying which is “Ou te le tau to’atasi ae matou te tau fa’atasi” which means, When you fight one, you fight us ALL.  Biggest showdown the Fast & Furious Universe has ever seen is coming this summer. HOBBS & SHAW AUGUST 2ND “

But that ain’t all he had to share. These guys won’t just be fixing up cars. They’ll be running around with g*****n clubs and mallets, running full-speed at some unenviable foes. Seriously, dude, check these guys out:

That enough man meat for you? It pretty much fits the bill for me. And that’s not even taking into account what Deckard Shaw will be bringing from his half (though we have already met his mother and brother and they aren’t nearly as shredded as these beefcakes).
