It is safe to say that the upcoming episode of The Mandalorian is the most hyped episode so far of the short life of the show.  With rumors swirling around for months that a live action version of Ahsoka Tano will be appearing on the popular shows fans have speculated when that might be.  While no official announcement has been made most fans assume that this weeks episode will be it.  We know that Din Djarin is on his way to Nevarro to find Ahsoka. Dave Filoni who created the character of Ahsoka also wrote the upcoming episode. All signs are pointing to this episode being the one.

According to Star Wars Stuff Twitter they have posted the upcoming title for the next episode of The Mandalorian is “The Jedi”

While this title has not been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm we can only speculate.  It does fall in line with the other titles we have seen from the show.  If the title is correct, then some of the more committed fans of Star Wars are a little confused. Now for the casual fan this doesn’t mean much since we know that Din has been looking for a Jedi and Bo Katan referenced Ahsoka as the Jedi he could find.  But for the fans that have watched The Clone Wars and Rebels they know that Ahsoka left the Jedi Order before becoming an actual Jedi and she has stated that she is not a Jedi.  Fans on social media are wondering if maybe things have changed since we last saw the fan favorite leaving to search for Ezra Bridger.

Most fans on social media are not upset but more curious to how Ahsoka might have changed to become a Jedi.  She is one of the few character we have seen in the Star Wars universe that has truly grown and evolve.  Besides Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, we have witnessed Ahsoka grow from a child to an adult and make her own path.  She is one of the few characters we have seen on the shows or films express the hypocrisy of the Jedi Order and actually leave it behind.  It is safe to say that casual Star Wars fans won’t care as much if Ahsoka is called a Jedi but I am pretty sure Dave Filoni will give a great backstory of what Ahsoka has been up too since we last saw her.
