Writer-director James Gunn is, slowly but surely, assembling his own Task Force X for his upcoming DC joint The Suicide Squad, which is acting as a soft reboot/sequel of the 2016-directed David Ayer film. Over the past several months, we’ve seen the list of actors grow to include the likes of Idris Elba, and now, we have two more(ish) to add to the list.

According to Deadline, Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi is boarding the DC train in The Suicide Squad. But he is not the only one with his eye on the film? The outlet says Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson is in talks for a cameo of sorts. Unlike Capaldi, however, Davidson’s deal is still in the works.

We do not know who they will be playing, nor how big Capaldi’s role will ultimately be.

If it all goes through, the duo will be joining newcomers Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Flula Borg, Steve Agee, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, as well as returning members, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman.

Who do you think these two will ultimately play? Let us know your thoughts down below!
