The Valley Economic Alliance celebrated the most important persons of the San Fernando Valley last night in a glitzy event called The Valley of the Stars Gala and Awards in Glendale, Calif.

In its 25th anniversary celebration, the organization honored actress Cybill Shepherd for her leadership in arts and entertainment; actor Bruce Boxleitner for arts and entertainment; Morphe Cosmetics for business; Age of Learning for education and Mel Wilson for humanitarian activities.

Dinner was provided as a plant-based menu by world famous chef Eddie Garza.

LRM Online was invited to cover the red carpet event and talked with all the honoress, including journalist Palmira-Najarian, City of Burbank mayor Emily Gabel-Luddy, Los Angeles Economic Development Corp. CEO Bill Allen, Goodwill Southern California CEO and president Patrick McClenahan and former LA Kings sports announcer Bob Miller.
