The whole world is a stage and competition for a debate. For one debater, everything changes when an incident changes his relationships with his opponent and wife.

The film stars Patrick Fabian (The Last Exorcism, Better Call Saul), Diana Coconubo (The Plow, Incarcerated), and Kailey Rhodes (Breakup Season, Half Sisters). Ian Ebright wrote and directed the movie.

Here is the official synopsis for The Way We Speak:

2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Patrick Fabian plays Simon, an up-and-coming writer who refuses to leave the spotlight when his best friend and debate opponent suffers cardiac arrest, leading to an obsession over his new opponent and a growing rift with his ailing wife.
