We have The Wheel of Time Season 2 new cast revealed ahead of the series premiere on Sept 1st. All the major roles have already been announced, however there were a few characters I noted by their absence, namely two of those mentioned in this article. Here are the new cast and their characters as revealed by WOT Series, but from updated IMDb listings.

Of the minor characters listed above, two of them have a bit more page time in the books. Elyas Machera and Bayle Domon. I don’t want to get into any specific details about either of these characters and where their stories go. For now it’s simply best to say that Bayle is captain of a boat he owns. Elyas is a wanderer who comes across Perrin and finds they have a few things in common.
Since Bayle first appeared in book 1 of the series, some fans were worried he had been cut. Equally I recall some fans being worried Elyas would be cut from Season 2. I’m glad both are present after all.

As for the other roles above, I don’t honestly think I can recall much about them specifically from the books other than where they appear and which main characters they come across.
I do like all the sneak peeks we have been getting so far for Season 2. Dare I hope that many of my Season 1 issues have been altered and the show will grow in strength? That is at least my hope, if not necessarily yet my belief. The first three Episodes of The Wheel of Time Season 2 drop on Amazon Prime Sept 1st. I will be writing a review of the first three as per usual. We also have a returning video review show. The Dragon Reviewed will be making a return with Kyle and Christine Malone plus myself. The dynamic is, Kyle and Christine are first timers to The Wheel of Time and calling it as they see it, whereas I am already a fan of the books.
