Following the clip we shared yesterday we have another The Wheel of Time Season 2 sneak peek, Rand meets Logain, plus another sneak peek, Selene, and two new teaser reels. Yesterday we shared (related section below) a sneak peak of Nynaeve. In that clip Nynaeve is being offered the opportunity to take the Accepted test for Aes Sedai. The one we are sharing today, shows lead character Rand (The Dragon Reborn). Rand is looking sheepish as Logain works out why he has come to speak to him, check it out.
This is a nice scene. Though it did not happen in the books, I figured we’d see this in Season 2. Logain was given a larger role than in the books. Well, shall we instead say on the pages of the books as most of the events you see in the show are canonical, just referred to later on in the series. One such moment is Logain recalling his first look at Rand back in book 1. Logain described how he laughed because he could see Rand was a much bigger threat than he would have ever be. I think it’s smart to bring that recollection forward and have the pair meet earlier.
Just like Logain, Rand cannot Channel without being exposed to the corruption of the Dark One. This led Logain towards madness. Ergo, if Rand has to Channel and needs to learn how, then using it is going to also poison his mind. Of course, this drama is central to how the story of The Wheel of Time unfolds. As such, I will say no more.

This second sneak peak shows Rand again, only this time with a new character for Season 2 called Selene. I think it’s fair to say we are witnessing a romantic moment. However, I won’t say too much more about these two just yet, SPOILERS. I think it’s better to find out how Selene and Rand got to this point for yourself.

Below we have two separately released teaser montages. Neither are particularly revealing unless you’ve already read the books. However, in this first one, we do get our first look at Verin, and Aes Sedai character who will be introduced in Season 2, here played by Meera Syal.
