The anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is finally here and with Tika Sumpter in more action scenes.

The Synopsis 

The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey, “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”) returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles (Idris Elba, “Beast of No Nation”), in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey, “Danny Phantom”), and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands. 

Before acting came a modeling career for Tika Sumpter. She made her debut on the small screen with an ongoing character, Layla Williamson in ABC’s One Like To Love. Sumpter  continued with a second recurring role for the CW series Gossip Girl. She’s been seen in other films like Ride Along, Southside With You, The Old Man & The Gun. Soon she will be seen in Ride Along 3.

Last month I was connected with Tika Sumpter to talk about Sonic the Hedgehog 2. She shared what it was like to introduce Sonic to her daughter and watching the film with her. In addition, to her joy to be on set with her costars and what she has taken away from working with Jim Carrey and James Marsden plus more!
