Time travel films always face a contradiction when someone goes back in time and changes the past—thus creating a paradox. The time travel comedy Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox confronts the concept head-on in this hilarious sci-fi twist.

The film stars Samuel Dunning (Blue Bloods) with Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Guild). There are special appearances with Keith David (They Live, The Thing), Joel McHale (Community, The Soup), and Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn).

Simon Snead wrote and directed the movie.

Here is the full synopsis:

It is called the Time Traveler’s Paradox. In which a scientist creates a Time Machine and kills their younger self. So now a man who should not–cannot–exist, somehow does. That is the Paradox, and Paradoxes are impossible. And the man who has created it, is Tim Travers. A reclusive mad scientist whose stated mission in life is to stand alone with God at the end of time, and tell the bastard off!!

In the course of his adventure, Tim Travers will take on the mercenary gang whose stolen plutonium powers his machine, challenge an Alex Jones-esk podcaster to a battle of wits, create a black hole, meet the one woman alive crazier than him, clone himself, destroy the universe, make a new one, and maybe—just maybe—learn to love himself at last.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with the cast and crew of Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox before their San Diego Comic-Con International panel in front of fans. The panelists included Samuel Dunning, Felicia Day, director Stimson Snead, Nicole Murray, producer Ben Yennie, and David Babbitt.

Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox is still on its film festival circuit, and no distribution date has been announced.
