Tiny Cinema directed by Tyler Cornack

Tyler Cornack developed quite an online following for his comedy horror series Tiny Cinema on their social media channels. With their anthology film, Cornack re-filmed some of the best short horror films from their social media and created new films for some of the funniest and most horrific storytelling.

Here is the official synopsis for Tiny Cinema:

A mysterious stranger tells the twisted tale of seemingly unconnected strangers whose lives will change in incredible and bizarre ways forever. As reality unravels, each person must battle incredible challenges from a multiverse seeking answers to the essential questions of life, death, love, and the fate of our future.

The cast included Tyler Rice, Philip Ursino, Sam Landers, Kristina Clifford, Shelby Dash, Austin Lewis, Olivia Herman, Matt Rubano, Kyle Lewis Matt Rasku, Cornack, and Kevin Michael. Cornack directed the films from the stories written by Cornack, Ryan Koch, and Bill Morean.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with director and co-writer Tyler Cornack about this anthology film and social media series. We discussed how it started as very brief online social media videos and his effort to expand it into a full-length anthology film. Also, he discussed the challenges, his production team, practical effects, and his love for horror-comedy.

Tyler Cornack made his feature film directorial debut with the indie comedy film The Pocketeers in 2016. With Ryan Koch, he created a series of comedic one-minute vignettes on Instagram that grew to more than 75,000 followers today. In 2019, he directed, wrote, and starred in the sci-fi thriller Butt Boy.

Tiny Cinema is now in select theaters, available On Demand on September 6, and then followed with a Blu-ray release next month on October 11.
