What a day Spidey fans. Trailer yesterday, today we have Tobey Maguire confirmed for No Way Home, and a toy showing a ‘Variant Spider-Man’ wearing Maguire’s costume. Maguire was confirmed by an actor who worked on the movie, though I think he was caught off-guard. JB Smoove was interviewed by The Illuminerdi, and they slipped in a sneaky question which caught the actor out. Smoove was asked which of the returning actors, Maguire and Garfield, was most exciting to see Holland share the screen with?
“Whoo, Tobey Maguire, of course man.”
This dude just straight up confirmed Jamie Foxx's Electro and Tom Holland sharing scenes with Tobey Maguire!

Smoove also confirmed Jamie Foxx’s return, but then so did Jamie Foxx, and many other trades and insiders. I think Smoove will get a telling off for this one 100%. However, I feel like he just made a simple Human error. The interviewer worded that question very expertly, and whilst a trained mind like Feige would have been all over it like a rash, Smoove isn’t used to that. However, hopefully it won’t be too bad considering that all the best insiders have been convinced of Maguire and Garfield for some time.
We also have some more evidence. Now first off I have seen an image of both Maguire and Garfield, supposedly on set. At first it looks very fake, but after checking the image using software and listening to what trusted insiders are saying, fans are now convinced it is legit. I cannot link to that leaked image, sorry. However, you’ll find it easy enough online, or social media if you go looking.

Finally though, I share a social media post showing the image of a new toy. This toy is wearing the Maguire costume and is called ‘Variant Spider-Man’. Now if you don’t call this confirmation that Maguire and Garfield are in the movie? Well, I don’t know what to tell you?
