Tom Hardy Wraps On Venom Movie

It looks like the Venom movie is either wrapped or damn near close to wrapping. Tom Hardy recently took to Instagram to show off his back muscles and reveal that he’s done with his work on Venom.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that all the work on the film’s production is done yet. Just because he’s the star doesn’t mean he’s in every single scene, and that every single scene without him was already shot. That being said, it probably means they’re pretty close, if nothing else.

Clearly, Hardy is a man of few words, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Now comes the waiting game until we see our actual first footage of the movie. The Venom film is one that fans have been looking forward to for ages, though the manner in which this one popped up was a bit unexpected, to say the least.

Venom is a character that exists only because of Spider-Man, and since it hasn’t been clear from the get-go whether or not Tom Holland’s younger Spider-Man is in this world, we’ve been back-and-forth as to whether or not this can actually be a good movie.

With Hardy wrapped, we’re now one step closer to figuring out if that’s indeed the case.

Venom hits theaters on October 5, 2018.
