Is Tom Hardy’s Venom in No Way Home? Or are Sony teasing Venom will meet Spidey in whatever the sequel to Spider-Man: No Way Home is? Something funky is going on and fans are not sure what to expect. Before I get to what will be considered SPOILERS for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, let’s talk about the non-spoiler stuff. Hardy was seen wearing a baseball cap with the Spider-Man: No Way Home logo in it. You can catch that image below.

No, I note that no one is making any comments on the Cobra Kai T-shirt Hardy is wearing, does this mean Venom turns up in Cobra Kai? To be fair though, this cap is very reminiscent of some crew caps we have seen already. Given the comic connections to Spider-Man it makes sense Sony will eventually want this Venom to meet Spider-Man. However, this Venom showing up in No Way Home does seem less certain. Given the things we know about Spider-Man: No Way Home it would actually make more sense for Topher Grace’s version of Eddie/Venom to show up. I don’t think he does, but you can see my logic here.
We also have to add in something which does get into SPOILERS for Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage though. This deals with an end credit scene from the movie , so if you don’t want to know, stop scrolling and don’t read after the image and link below.

Here it is, you were warned. According to those who have seen the movie, the after credit scene show Venom/Eddie watching something about Spider-Man on the news, Venom then licks the screen and says “he looks tasty Eddie?”
Now I have not seen the movie and likely won’t, but this is what I m hearing online pretty reliably. Does that add more weight to whether we’ll see Tom Hardy’s Venom in No Way Home? Not really, but it does add more weight to the fact that next time out, Venom and Spider-Man will meet up. Place your bets here folks. I reckon Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will soon be fighting Venom in a sequel that does not involve Marvel Studios and that scares me. Hope I’m wrong.
