Ah, Loki. Poor, poor Loki. The poor guy only wanted to prove to his father that he was Thor’s equal. That is until he decided he wanted to conquer all of Earth…but that’s not to see he was without redemption. By the end of Thor: Ragnarok, he had all but become Thor’s loyal ally, and it was at this point that he made the ultimate sacrifice, attempting to kill Thanos and losing his life in the process.
It was definitely one of the MCU’s most cruel and punishing deaths, and while we don’t know for sure if his character will somehow be resurrected, we do know that he will be returning to the fold in his own TV series for Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+. We’ve known about it for a while, but yesterday, it was confirmed by Disney CEO Bob Iger. But he wasn’t the only one. Hiddleston himself also took to Twitter to confirm it.
“Loki.
More stories to tell.
More mischief to make.
More to come.”

Given how beloved his character has become over the years, it’s no surprise that we’ll be seeing him again. But the big question is when? As mentioned above, he met his end at the hands of Thanos. Could we be following him in Valhalla or perhaps in some prequel leading up to the events in The Avengers?
The sky is the limit, but we have to first see how things turn out in Avengers 4, so we know what kind of world we’re dealing with.
