According to Tom Holland, he and co-star/partner Zendaya have read the current draft of Spider-Man 4, but it’s not finished. Holland was a guest on the Rich Roll Podcast. You can catch the full video below, but I’m guessing you may just want the juicy bits.
Holland on the script for this next Spider-Man movie.
“It needs work but the writers are doing a great job. I read it 3 weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down, read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room”
It sounds like they liked what they read even if it’s still not quite ready. I’d also wager that Zendaya is back. Some fans seems sure she won’t be in this movie. I mean, come on, you really think Holland is going to agree to that?
Far as we can tell the movie will shoot next year for a July 2026 release date, probably right after Avengers: Doomsday, also rumored to star Holland as one of the movie’s leads.

Another interesting quote from this interview was around Miles Morales. Holland once again reiterated he has a desire to one day bring on a young actor to play Miles like RDJ did with him. Sounds like a plan, but, not yet eh Tom. You really are still just a young man and there’s a bit more mileage in this Spider-Man yet.
Oh, and he also mentioned he was in the know about RDJ’s return as Doctor Doom. With his reputation, he was worried he’d spoil it. Check out the full video below.
I guess for now we’ll just have to wait and see what is in store for Holland’s next Spider-Man outing. And of course Zendaya’s next stint as MJ also.
