Tom Holland Has Arrived For Spider-Man 3 Filming

Holland's contract up as Spider-Man

We knew second unit work had begun, but now Tom Holland has arrived for Spider-Man 3 filming. That pretty much means that principal photography is ready to go soon. Holland used social media to express his excitement when getting off the plane in Atlanta.

Check out Holland’s video thanks to a Brazilian Tom Holland fan site below.

There’s not much to say about Holland other than his excitement to play Spider-Man is infectious, and we love him for it. What we have to touch on is all the various rumors around this movie. Here’s the thing, if the rumors of Garfield and Maguire are true, then I think they must be signed up. There’s no way Spider-Man 3 would begin shooting before they even know what the story is going to be? At this point I’ll guess either Garfield and Maguire are signed up, or, they are not in Spider-Man 3. Based on Sony’s very strangely worded comments on this, I have to side with the former. After all, saying the casting rumors were ‘unconfirmed’ is a very strange way of responding to the story

As for set videos. I don’t think we will be seeing much from the Atlanta set. Recent pictures of the set being out together shows a lot of walls and restrictions in place, many of which are probably COVID related. We do know that Jamie Foxx is set to appear as Electro, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. Other than that, we know almost nothing about Spider-Man 3 other than a lot of vague rumors and speculation. Just the way I like it.

Are you excited that Tom Holland has arrived for Spider-Man 3 filming? Probably not as excited as Holland himself seems to be. Leave any Spidey thoughts you have in the usual place below.
