Tom Holland Teases Role In Uncharted Movie

Earlier this year, it was reported by Deadline that Tom Holland would take on the role of a young Nathan Drake in the an adaptation of the video game Uncharted. Since that report, nothing has really been reported.

Now, Twitter user Cade Onder seems to have found a video from the actor’s Instagram and posted it for all to see. If you go to Holland’s actual Instagram page, you won’t be able to find the video there, and while it could mean that this is a fake, it can also mean that it was taken down by request of Sony.

Take a look at the video below:

It’s not any extra information, but if it’s real, it would imply that Holland is hard at work playing the game to prepare for the role. Then again, the laughing emoji could also imply that he’s joking, and that reports of his involvement aren’t really true. That’s impossible to say that this point.

Shane Black is currently attached to helm the film, and he’s rumored to be pulling inspiration from the third Uncharted game, which focuses on a younger version of Nathan Drake. With this in mind, Holland would be good for the role as a wisecracking thief. It would also allow Sony to build up to the older, more grizzled Nathan Drake gamers know.

What do you think of this video? Is Holland teasing his involvement or just poking fun? Let us know your thoughts down below!
