This week Kyle hosts LRM’s Editor-In-Chief, Joseph Jammer Medina, to discuss their favorite films from Pixar. Pixar had humble beginnings doing animation for movies like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and was once owned by George Lucas before Apple’s big man, Steve Jobs, bought the company. In 1995 Pixar released a small film about toys that come to life when people aren’t around. That film, Toy Story, would go on to make a massive $373 million at the box office and set a new standard for animation in film. The rest is history.

The company has produced and released 20 films and is currently set to release Toy Story 4 on June 21st. Many of their films are visually stunning and have helped push animation to new heights. Combine that with some of the most memorable characters and heartfelt stories and you have instant favorites.
