Toy Story 4 Poster: Woody Goes To The Carnival

Back in 2010, Pixar revisited the world of Toy Story for a third time with Toy Story 3, and with it, they brought the most perfect conclusion to a trilogy. Hell, I’d even argue that it solidified itself as perhaps one of the best conclusions to a film trilogy ever (Yes, I’m including Return of the King and Return of the Jedi).

And yet, here we are: Eight years later and with Toy Story 4 on the horizon. Little is known about what to expect from the movie itself. It’s gone through iterations in the past. I know at one point, it was being labeled as a romantic comedy that would center on Woody and Bo Peep, but I’m not even sure that’s still supposed to be what the story is about anymore. You may be asking yourself, then, what adventure will our favorite band of toys go on next?

Well, Pixar just dropped a brand-new poster, showing a Ferris wheel in the corner, which hints at them heading to a carnival.

This isn’t the first big hint we’ve had of the carnival nature of the movie. The day after they released that first teaser for the film, we got another tease — this time, showing off two new characters, voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. These two characters were none other than carnival prizes, and the whole “skit” took place on the front table of a carnival game.

So yeah, in case you haven’t put that together yet, it looks like that’s what we can expect for the film. Though just how it will all play into the story is a different question altogether.
