This weekend has seen a trade disagreement of sorts on whether Deadpool will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, filming now. Rumors have indicated Ryan Reynolds may show up in the film, but nothing definitive. That’s changed a little this weekend.

THR said this in a recent article,

‘Early on Tuesday morning, Ryan Reynolds ignited speculation that Deadpool would finally get his dream and share the screen with the Avengers, when he posted an Avengers logo that had been vandalized with graffiti (something Deadpool would do).’

‘Sources tell Heat Vision that yes, Deadpool will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. (Don’t expect him to actually be joining the Avengers team, though.)’

Meanwhile, Deadline then ran this soon afterwards,

‘Sources tell us that they haven’t seen Reynolds on set in London, and he isn’t set to appear in the next two Avengers movies.’

Slightly confusing to say the least. However, this could all be down to what trades are told and what they are told to keep to themselves. For what it’s worth, maybe not quite as high a reputation as the other two, but TheWrap said this with regards to Deadpool,

‘So which outlet is right? According to insiders we spoke to, we haven’t seen that last of Deadpool, and will see him next in “Avengers: Doomsday.” But no one is going on the record about it — yet.’

Lastly we have someone from the rumor/leaks side. Here is what Daniel RPK says about Deadpool being in Doomsday.

So, I am not going to say whether Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is in Avengers: Doomsday or not, what do I know? I would not bet against it though, not at this stage.
