Hypochondriacs simply can’t win.
Indie comedy 5 Doctors follows struggling comedian Spencer Kaminsky, as he is convinced that he’s dying from a bizarre array of symptoms. He returns home to visit his five childhood doctors in a single day, while desperately trying to avoid all his friends and family he left behind.
The film stars Max Azulay (Argyle), Matt Porter (New Timers), Emily Walton (Submission), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), Eddie Pepitone (Old School), Peter Friedman (Love & Other Drugs), Adam Dannheisser (Down to Earth), Jodi Long (The Hot Chick), Jeremy Shamos (The Big Sick), Jordan Baker (Escape from L.A.) and Annabelle Zasowski (The Blacklist).
5 Doctors is directed by Matt Porter and Max Azulay. It is written by Phil Primason (Revival), Porter and Azulay.
The film will be released by Dial Tone Pictures and Gravitas Ventures globally on VOD and digital on all platforms on February 27. It made its film world premiere at the Austin Film Festival.
