Netflix’s hit series Narcos had spent it’s first three seasons giving viewers a look at the the cocaine war in Colombia, pre and post the notorious Pablo Escobar. After his fall they followed the Cali Cartel, which wrapped up with the bosses deaths or incarcerations.

Now for season 4 the series will have to go back in time a bit to tell us the story of the birth of Mexico’s drug war. But this season will no include the former leads Pedro Pascal and Boyd Holbrook, instead they will be following the show’s new star Michael Pena who will be playing DEA agent Kiki Camarena and he will be looking to bring down Miguel Felix Gallardo, who will be played by Diego Luna.

A trailer has finally hit the web giving us a brief introduction to Pena’s character as well as Luna’s. You can check it out above! Narcos: Mexico is being produced by Gaumont Television, with Eric Newman serving as showrunner and executive producer along with Jose Padiha, Doug Mira and Carlo Bernard.

Another interesting character that will be making an appearance of the show will be Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, played by Alejandro Edda. If your going tell a story about the Mexican drug war you have to include El Chapo, this is something that Newman had hinted about before.
