Trailer: Kumail Nanjiani And Dave Bautista Are In For The Ride Of Their Lives In Stuber

Dave Bautista recently made a statement saying he had no interest in becoming a movie star. He could have fooled us considering how much he’s working. Just last week, we saw a trailer for his new film My Spy, and now we’re getting a trailer for another comedy film Stuber, where he’ll be starring alongside comedian Kumail Nanjiani. I have to say, like his other movie, it feels like another fun winner.

Looking at a movie like this, the comparisons between him and The Rock are only bound to grow. Actually, the dynamic Bautista and Nanjiani have isn’t completely unlike what Johnson and Kevin Hart had in the film Central Intelligence. Both follow some big, buff intense law enforcement dudes getting their mild-mannered counterparts in over their heads. Comparisons aside, I think this looks like it could have a good time.

Below is the official synopsis for Stuber:

“When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating. Directed by Michael Dowse, this action-comedy from 20th Century Fox also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan.”
