In a recent post from director Michael Bay, it was revealed that the Decepticon leader Megatron will be returning in the latest TRANSFORMERS film, TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT.

In the video above, Megatron’s appearance was teased, and is that blood on his face? Hard to say, and we can only speculate what that’ll mean for the film itself.
We last saw Megatron proper in TRANSFORMERS: THE DARK OF THE MOON, and while he wasn’t properly in AGE OF EXTINCTION, it was mentioned that Galvatron was essentially Megatron reincarnated. However, with THE LAST KNIGHT, it looks like Megatron will once again return as the main baddie.
