Sean Whalen has been an unforgettable character actor since the 1990s, from his breakthrough role in The People Under the Stairs to his appearance in the “Got Milk?” commercial campaign with the Aaron Burr segment. Now the seasoned actor makes his appearance in the horror film Traumatika as the doomsayer of the film.

Traumatika stars Rebekah Kennedy (Two Witches, The Veil), Emily Goss (Snapshots, The House on Pine Street), Ranen Navat (Skycrash, Beautiful Friend), AJ Bowen (You’re Next, The Signal), Sean O’Bryan (Olympus Has Fallen, Raising Helen), Susan Gayle Watts (To Hell and Gone, Our Late Father), and Whalen.

Pierre Tsigaridis directed the film, which Tsigaridis and Maxime Rancon wrote.

Here is the synopsis of Traumatika:

A young boy’s night terrors become reality when his mother begins showing signs of demonic possession. What he’s about to experience will haunt him for the rest of life and claim countless lives across generations.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with actor Sean Whalen about his brief appearance in the film Traumatika, noting its extreme importance to the plot and storytelling. He also reflected on his career, which included Clive Barker’s The People Under the Stairs, being a commercial icon with the Got Milk? Campaign, and his collaboration in the industry with people who love to make movies.

Sean Whalen made his on-screen debut with the unforgettable breakthrough performance as Roach in Clive Barker’s The People Under the Stairs. It launched him to immediate stardom, which included supporting roles in Twister, Idol Hands, and Men in Black. His facial expression made in the first Got Milk? commercial as the Aaron Burr history buff. His other film appearances included Halloween II, Hatchet III, Jersey Boys, Wizards of Waverly Place, Lost, and Superstore.

Traumatika is in theaters on Friday, September 12.
