Turning Red Review, Star Trek’s New Kirk, Star Wars’ New Baddie | Breaking Geek Radio: The Podcast
Breaking Geek Radio: The Podcast is about analyzing geekdom and the things we like: an in-depth examination of movies, television, and culture. Expect reviews, a look at entertainment controversies, and other fun content! This Podcast is a once a week release coming out every Friday.
Just three lads this week.
Previously, on Breaking Geek Radio: THE BATMAN Review
But before the talking Pixar’s latest, Turning Red, the boys discuss all the geek news you can use! We got your Star Trek news including a discussion of Star Trek 4‘s timetable and the new James Kirk appearing on season two Strange New Worlds. Will it break the timeline canon?
Don’t worry, we also got your Star Wars news. Following Ray Park’s Instagram scandal, Star Wars and Obi-Wan Kenobi are leaving him behind for their “new” baddie. Speaking of Disney, Director Shawn Levy has been tapped to direct Deadpool 3. Does this mean we’ll see Deadpool enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon? And a Disney animator gets a giant deal with Skydance, which Jammer thinks is important.
Jonesy also and Nick react to trailers for The Boys Season 3 (f***ing diabolical, mate) and Ms. Marvel. Are Jonesy and Nick interested in Marvel Studio’s latest Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel, or is it just for kids? Then we finally do our Turning Red review.
