TV: Arrow Adding Ragman to Season 5

If you were hoping that Arrow: Season 5 was going to do away with magical elements, which played a large role in seasons 3 and 4, you may want to pump the brakes.  According to THR, Joe Dinicol, known for his roles in Blindspot and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, will be joining the cast as Rory Ragan, better known as Ragman.  THR went on to state that, “(Rory Ragan) is fresh from a personal tragedy, hopes to find answers in Star City, where he ultimately crosses paths with Green Arrow (Stephen Amell).”

Ragman is know in the DC Universe as an individual who wears a mystical suit of souls.  His suit takes the souls of guilty individuals and helps redeem them.  During the taking of souls, he can summon the strength and abilities of any soul he takes.

I am not sure what to make of this yet.  I was hoping Season 5 would stay away from magic, but it is yet to be seen how much of a role Ragman will play in the upcoming season.

Dinicol’s Ragman should be appearing somewhere at the beginning of Season 5.  What are your thoughts concerning the incorporation of Ragman in Season 5 of Arrow?  Leave your thoughts in the usual place.  Thanks!
