Yes, folks, we have two new TV spots for you to feast your eyes upon above, there is nothing too spoilery in here and again the Marvel marketing team is playing the less is more game, and it works. I see Avengers: Endgame this Thursday evening and many of my colleagues will have seen it even before that. It’s going to be fun seeing everyone slip one at a time into our special spoilers allowed chat and see what they thought. But let’s get back to those TV spots.
The first TV spot doesn’t really show us anything new, however, we do get our first glimpse at Valkyrie in this movie, even if it is extremely brief. We also get an interesting voice over from Thanos who says,
“After I kill you, I’m going to burn this annoying little planet to cinders.”
Ouch, I guess the stakes are raised again as Thanos decides to pay special attention to Earth after the meddling of our heroes.
The second TV spot actually shows a little different footage that seems connected to what we have seen before, we get a little more of Tony and Steve talking for one. We also see even more of those mysterious ‘Team Suits’ that everyone has pegged as Quantum Realm suits. I also wonder if again, that last line where Tony tells Cap he has missed his optimism might actually be a different earlier version of Cap after the old one is killed? A popular theory I helped start, but really nothing more than a theory at this point.

It’s great to see that Marvel hasn’t dipped their toes to deep into the well with the marketing of this movie, because they simply don’t have to. Pre-ticket sales are gargantuan already and the opening weekend is going to be massive for this. There is really no need to show us any more than they have.
