Universal’s dream of the Monster Universe setting is settling in nicely, but not necessarily on the film front. After Universal’s slow development uniting Dracula, Invisible Man, and the Mummy with its film, its universe proceeded in an animation form with the four-part mini-series We Will Be Monsters.

Audiences will be able to watch the entire animated series We Will Be Monsters on a dedicated virtual theater within Fortnite today.

This updated modern monster universe will introduce The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein, and other classic Universal monsters.

The series is a re-imagined story, reflecting a diversity of global backgrounds, as the unwanted outcasts reclaim their power and rewrite their own narratives.

The voice cast members include Chemon Theys (Bride of Frankenstein), Jerome Velinsky (Dracula), Joey Vieria (Wolfman), Emmy Saheki (The Mummy), Victory Ndukwe (Frankenstein’s Monster), and Glaston Toft (Van Helsing). Rick Famuyiwz directed the series from the story written by Famuyiwa and Alev Aydin.

Also, Fortnite gamers will have access to the cosmetic skins of the re-imagined Bride of Frankenstein, Classic Mummy, and Classic Frankenstein for a limited time as a celebration of the full mini-series debut.

After the initial release on Fortnite, all four episodes of the series will be live-streamed on the Universal Monsters official TikTok channel. The following Monday, February 28, all four episodes will be available across the Universal Monsters’ social and digital channels.
