Venom: Check Out This Super Sexy Japanese Poster

I guess this week is Venom week. We just had the new trailer drop for the upcoming Sony anti-hero film, and while overall enthusiasm seems to be middling at best, that hasn’t stopped the studio from pushing on with their marketing campaign. Of course, with any film, it’s a given that we’ll be getting a legion of posters from various countries, and today, one dropped from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Check it out below:

As you can see, this new poster gives us a sweet and sexy look at Venom’s unhinged jaw and his long, slobbery tongue — a pose that’s pretty damn iconic for the character. Sure, there are still plenty of doubts audiences have about the film, but in terms of the look of the character, they really seem to have done a great job.

Does this take away from any concerns I have? Not really? I’m admittedly not a huge fan of the character, and while I don’t think the movie looks terrible, I think it says something that I haven’t felt the urge to check out the trailer more than once.

What do you think of this new poster? Sound off down below!
