Bumblebee is a huge success, and the most well received of all the Transformers films. And with success often times comes parody, so here’s another mash-up of Fifty Shades of Grey, this time with Bumblebee. This unlikely union of franchises, oddly enough seems to work pretty well. You can check it out just above.

The video is well made and edited, almost makes you wish it was a real film, except, not really. I mean, how would they, how could they even, never mind. Though the video does show a connection between the Anastasia character and Bumblebee, which is both cool and sort of weird.

Videos such as this one are usually hit or miss, and despite the odd crossover of a borderline adult film, with a film based on a children’s toy, this one works, as I said above the editing and construction are well done in my opinion. If this were a real film, I may watch it simply out of morbid curiosity, but I think we are all thankful it’s just a fun YouTube video.

I still haven’t seen Bumblebee, and will probably never watch the Fifty Shades films (just not my thing) but I am glad to hear the new Transformers is a hit.
