The leaked Wakanda Forever post-credit Doctor Doom scene has reportedly been cut from the movie. If you remember there was a leaked pre-vis shot of Doctor Doom appearing to make his MCU debut in a post-credit scene. This pre-vis leak was backed up by almost all the Marvel insiders. However over the last 48 hours it has become apparent that the Barside Buzz around this scene is that it has been cut.
The first person to claim this was BSL, see below. However since that, many other credible insiders have come out and backed this up saying the scene has indeed been cut.
As said, since this post, there are now three or four different insiders for Marvel making the same claims. It therefore seems highly likely this is legit and there is now no Doctor Doom post-credit scene. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens on November 11 in the U.S. However the world premiere is later today in Hollywood. As such, there are finished cuts out there and some claim to have seen the movie.

As for how the fans are reacting to this news? Well as you can imagine there was a lot of excitement over Doom’s appearance. Though, far as anyone knows, no one had yet been cast and the actor used would just be a stand in. It seems Marvel thought better of that and have likely decided to wait until the character has been cast. I do not think this changes in anyway the implication that Doom is a central figure working in the shadows. One insider even claimed that Doom and Latveria will be mentioned in a new post-credit scene. However I’ve not seen anyone else back that one up yet.
This should not really take anything from Wakanda Forever which will instead focus on a different set of characters and their own stories. Doom is coming to the MCU, have no doubt about that. However looks like not just yet.
What do you think of the news the Wakanda Forever post-credit Doctor Doom scene has reportedly been cut from the movie? As always, leave any thoughts below.
